Over my years of doing business a common thing I would hear is "Who buys a home in the winter?" or "Nobody wants to move in the winter."  However many real estate transactions do happen in the winter in Minnesota and Wisconsin. And if you want to get a home bargain I always feel winter home buying in the Minnesota and Wisconsin home markets is the best time to get a bit of a deal.  So you may not think that people buy homes in cold climates in the winter but often the market warms up and the Spring market starts in the middle of the winter.
